Hydrogen & Gas Mobility (H2GM), where you will work, is the Company’s dedicated internal competence centre for hydrogen, natural gas and biomethane for mobility and small-scale B2B/industry use. H2GM’s role is to support, advise, share expertise with our colleagues worldwide on these topics.
What does the traineeship look like
Your career starts with us as trainee at the Strategy, Marketing and Communications team. You will support the team with (video & written) content and messaging in line with the Company’s strategy and tone of voice. But you will also need to think strategic, identify new opportunities to engage with our colleagues world-wide, and help to realize projects for your stakeholders. During your traineeship you will get to know TotalEnergies and our company culture. You will learn to cooperate with various departments and colleagues. At the same time, you will develop both personal and professional competencies. You are coached by your manager and our Talent Developer. You participate in courses and intervision meetings with your fellow trainees. After this year, we evaluate together whether you have achieved your personal goals, and we determine your direction within TotalEnergies.
What will you be doing
• You will be directly reporting into the Communications Manager, as you provide and especially plan video, visual and written content and messaging for H2 & Gas Mobility channels (e.g. website & newsletter). This includes proposing content for the Company’s LinkedIn channels, as well as managing the H2GM specific content channels. You will take charge of the resulting revamp of marcoms channels – including the editorial planning and implementation of content for the organization’s newsletter, standard presentation and intra/web sites as well as managing the two relating contact databases.
• You will be supporting the weekly Faits Marquants activity (market intelligence highlights) about the gaseous fuel market for mobility & small-scale industry, researching news, articles, investments, policy changes, and other relevant developments. The information will be provided to the internal stakeholders within the Company.
• You will support various colleagues with presentations, pitches, surveys and e-learnings from a communication and marketing point of view.
• You will get to know the role of natural gas, biomethane, and hydrogen for the energy transition of the transport market.

Your skills
• You have completed a communication, content marketing or journalism-related education at least at college level;
• No more than one year relevant work experience;
• Ambitious with the desire to grow within TotalEnergies;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language. French is an advantage;
• For this role, proven writing skills in (native level) English are a must.

In this position you will not only get to know the world of hydrogen (h2), natural gas and biomethane, but also the latest developments in the energy transition. There is room for personal training, both on skills and personal competencies. While the traineeship, you will be supervised by your manager and the Talent Developer.
